Smart House is the course, which describes the principles of device control system building, items and communications in the house based on Arduino. The course is designed for children aged 8 years and involves learning of the basic elements (sensors, microcontroller, expansion cards, actuators) and practical implementation of various projects – real prototype of “Smart home”. Indoor and street lighting automation, irrigation, programmable thermostat, monitoring of electrical devices energy consumption, protection and surveillance system, “smart socket” – all of which can be implemented on the Arduino platform. In the course of children under 11 years study graphic programming language Scratch, Ardublock, and senior – Text C ++.

Smart House is the house (flat), where control of devices (lights, home cinema etc.), stuff (garage doors, flowerpot, aquarium etc ) and communications (heating, ventilation, water supply, CCTV and burglar alarms) are held with the help of computer (microcontroller).
Under the supervision means:
- work automation (automatic plants watering, opening-closing of curtains, scheduled temperature management);
- remote centralized management (for example: with smartphone via WiFi or Bluetooth);
· monitoring (monitoring of an object or process for the purpose of assessing, comparing and forecasting) and telemetry (remote tracking systems).
